As many of you may have read here earlier, we built a wood kiln last summer that until just recently had not yet been fired. Last week, we finally got that first firing in and this past weekend it was unloaded. All told, there were five different clay bodies and 11 glazes. I'm glad that everything went so well with your first firing! I really, really like the piece in the last picture with the stripes.
Wow that is great! I love the flashing you got. There is nothing like that warm toasty look.
I am lucky enough to have purchased one of these pieces - absolutely beautiful!
